Floating Cinema MK - Great Linford

The Floating Cinema will be in residence in three locations along the Grand Union Canal in MK throughout the Summer of 2018. An exciting, enticing and engaging film programme of on-board and bankside screenings will explore the importance and meaning of home. From sing-along-a- The Wizard of Oz to High Rise, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The programme is free, but you will need to book tickets to attend each screening, as capacity is limited. On-board screenings have a capacity of 20 people – so book early to avoid disappointment. Bankside screenings are limited to 100 people.
Alongside the on-board and bankside screenings, the programme also includes;
- Drop-in sessions: For those who are curious and keen to find out more, visitors will be able to explore the Floating Cinema at regular drop in sessions, taking place Thursday and Saturday mornings 11am-12noon from Thursday 2nd August to Saturday 8th September)
- Archive Hour: Evocative archive footage of Milton Keynes through the ages and the stories of the people that have made it their home will be viewable on Friday mornings, taking place at 11am-12noon from Friday 3rd August to Friday 31st August.
- Activity Booklet: We have also commissioned White Wall Yellow Door to design a very special Floating Cinema Activity Booklet, so our younger audiences can fully explore and enjoy the Cinema, while it is in MK.
